KSF Prespa Birlik achieved a much-anticipated victory when they faced IFK Hässleholm at Malmö IP on Saturday afternoon. The first two goals were scored by Cimon Lydén and Jesper Rindmo, giving the home team a 2-0 lead. IFK Hässleholm desperately tried to come back but never really posed a threat to KSF Prespa's goal.
In the second half, there were quite a few yellow cards, with warnings for Mohammed Hamdan, Kojo Annor, and Alan Asaad. IFK Hässleholm attempted to bring on Ikose Abelto to strengthen their attack, but it made no difference to the course of the match. And although KSF Prespa Birlik received warnings for Cimon Lydén and Alan Asaad late in the game, the match was virtually decided.
KSF Prespa Birlik's coach, Alexander Kvetan, said after the match that he was pleased with how his team performed. He stated, "We were disciplined, and taking these three points was important for us. We will continue to work hard and look forward to the next match."
After the match, KSF Prespa Birlik is in 7th place in the table, while IFK Hässleholm is at the bottom. However, it is still early in the season, and there are opportunities for both teams to improve their results.
