The match between Asarums IF FK and Österlen FF started intensely with an early goal from Österlen FF in the 4th minute, when Dejan Blagojevic scored. Asarums IF FK tried to apply pressure and get back into the game, but it was Österlen FF that extended their lead in the 28th minute with another goal from Dejan Blagojevic.

At the beginning of the second half, however, Asarums IF FK managed to reduce the deficit through Johannes Hedén Hultgren, but the joy was short-lived as Fabian Karlsson increased Österlen FF's lead in the 60th minute. The match was then decided in the 67th minute when Bassam Ahmad scored Österlen FF's fourth goal.

The referee also issued several warnings during the match, including to Mattis Gustavsson from Asarums IF FK and Tibor Cica from Österlen FF. Substitutions were made on both sides in an attempt to change the course of the match, but Österlen FF maintained their lead and secured three points.

After the match, it became clear that Asarums IF FK dropped to 10th place in the table, while Österlen FF retained their position as league leaders in Division 2 Östra Götaland, men's.
