Hässleholms IF welcomed Asarums IF FK to Österås IP A-plan in front of 150 spectators one evening in May. The referee, Fredrik Rönning, officiated the match, assisted by Kurt Hansen and Victor Folkesson.
It was the home team, Hässleholms IF, that took the lead already in the 7th minute through Joel Wedenell, an early goal that set the tone for the match. Asarums IF FK received two yellow cards during the first half, which gave Hässleholms IF more momentum and energy. In the 47th minute, Joel Wedenell extended the lead to 2-0, allowing the home team to go into halftime with a solid advantage.

David Samuelsson managed to reduce the score to 3-2 in the 90th minute, making the end of the match tense and exciting. But Hässleholms IF managed to hold on and secure three points.
The match ended with a yellow card for Hässleholms IF's Kevin Zenthio in the 90th minute, and the final whistle blew after a closely contested battle on the field. Hässleholms IF won the match 3-2 and could celebrate an important victory in Division 2 Östra Götaland.
