Räppe GOIF started the match strongest and took the lead after 38 minutes through Eric Hörnell. Just four minutes later, they extended their lead with a goal from Pontus Norrlin, and it looked like they would go into halftime with a 2-0 advantage. But Lunds BK found a way back and equalized through Gustav Hillstedt and Fredrik Karlsson before the break.
