Nässjö FF managed to secure three important points in this year's opening match when they faced IFK Hässleholm at Skogsvallen 2.
The match began with a nervous atmosphere on the field, and it wasn't until the fourteenth minute that a warning was issued to Nässjö FF's Dan-Karlo Goranci. Another warning was given to the home team when Leaford Anthony Allen received one in the nineteenth minute.
After that, the match became more intense, and in the thirty-first minute, Nässjö FF scored a long-awaited goal by Pontus Göth. Following the goal, the play became more physical, and Christopher Ramirez was cautioned for the home team in the thirty-eighth minute.
In the second half, Nässjö FF made two substitutions, bringing on Román Tello Olivares and Petrus Kocadag in place of Bojan Kakas and Pontus Göth. IFK Hässleholm substituted Ikose Abelto in the sixty-fourth minute, and in the seventy-sixth minute, Daniel Aprodu was replaced by Tim Karlsson.
