Match in Division 2 Östra Götaland, men 2020
Match start: 2020-10-18 at 14:00
Venue: Skillinge IP

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, Österlen FF faced IFK Hässleholm at Skillinge IP. Österlen FF was in a comfortable leading position leading up to the match, while Hässleholm was trying to find their form. However, it would prove difficult for the guests from Hässleholm against a strong Österlen.

Already in the 5th minute, it was the home team that took the lead when Lucas Alm scored to make it 1-0. Österlen continued to dominate the game, and in the 31st minute, Florent Sopi extended the lead to 2-0.

At halftime, Hässleholm attempted to inject some new energy by making three substitutions. However, this would prove to be of little use. Österlen came out strong in the second half as well, and when Hugo Hellichius scored to make it 3-0 in the 58th minute, it seemed like it was all over for Hässleholm.

But the guests did not want to give up, and in the 79th minute, Mohammed Hamdan reduced the deficit to 3-1. However, Österlen was too strong, and in the 90th minute, they were awarded a penalty that Kevin Harletun confidently converted. The match was decided, and Österlen ultimately won 4-1.

For Hässleholm, it was a tough day, where they dropped points in the relegation battle. Österlen, on the other hand, maintains their lead in the table and looks set to continue dominating Division 2 Östra Götaland.
