The match started at Gamlis IP on a night when unfortunately the crowd was absent. Referee Jennifer Laurin blew the whistle to kick off the match between Gamla Upsala SK and IF Brommapojkarna in Division 2 Östra Svealand for women.

It was Gamla Upsala SK who had a dream start to the match when Nathalie S:T Cyr scored the first goal at just the third minute. Jenny Öqvist then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 22nd minute, and she also added another goal to make it 3-0 shortly before halftime.

In the second half, IF Brommapojkarna managed to get back into the match when Cecilia Landgren reduced the score to 3-1 in the 51st minute. Hedda Regefalk then further reduced it to 3-2 in the 57th minute.

But Gamla Upsala SK did not give up; they worked hard and managed to score once more. Annika Högberg accurately shot to make it 4-2 in the 90th minute of the second half.

The match was intense, and IF Brommapojkarna tried to come back, but Gamla Upsala SK maintained their lead and ultimately secured three points. This was an important victory for Gamla Upsala SK, who are in 8th place in the table, while IF Brommapojkarna are in 3rd place.
