It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Aspuddens IP when IFK Aspudden-Tellus hosted Skogstorps GOIF in an exciting match in Division 2 Östra Svealand, women's category. The audience was present to support their teams, and referee Delaurence Masimango blew the whistle to kick off the match.
IFK Aspudden-Tellus started the match strongly, and already in the 17th minute, they took the lead through Tara Kelleher, who found the back of the net. Just a few minutes later, they extended their lead when Esme Faulds scored to make it 2-0.
In the second half, IFK Aspudden-Tellus continued to dominate, and Esme Faulds netted her second goal of the match to make it 3-0. However, Skogstorps GOIF did not give up and reduced the deficit through Sara Linnakallio in the 57th minute.
But IFK Aspudden-Tellus had no intention of letting the victory slip away, and Anna Lechner scored the fourth goal for her team shortly after. Tara Kelleher and Matilda Jullings then added to the lead before Saga Lundkvist made it 7-1.
The match ended in an unfortunate way for Skogstorps GOIF when they scored an own goal, finalizing the score at 8-1 in favor of IFK Aspudden-Tellus. An impressive victory for the home team in front of the 47 spectators present.
