On Saturday afternoon, an exciting soccer match took place at Skogsvallen between Hällbybrunns IF and Värmdö IF. Unfortunately, there were no spectators on site to follow the match, but that did not stop the teams from fighting on the field. The referee for the day was Ali Mohamadi, assisted by Mohamed Aziz and Malek Georges.
The match started evenly, and it was hard to see which team would take the lead first. However, after 26 minutes, Värmdö IF had a chance and took the lead through Melina Garpenbeck, and just a minute later, Telma Sloma extended the lead to 2-0. Hällbybrunns IF tried to respond, but Värmdö IF continued to control the ball, and after 43 minutes, Telma Sloma scored her second goal of the day from a corner, making it 3-0 for Värmdö IF at half-time.
The second half began with a warning to Värmdö IF's coach Martin Sjöstedt, but that did not stop the team from continuing to play strongly. In the 79th minute, Esther MengDi Erlandsson scored her team's fourth goal, increasing the lead to four to none. However, Hällbybrunns IF kept fighting, and it paid off when Frida Enehöjd managed to reduce the score to 1-4 shortly thereafter, but unfortunately, it was too late for Hällbybrunns IF to turn the match around.
The match concluded with an impressive performance from Värmdö IF, which won the match 4-1 and took important three points in Division 2 Östra Svealand. Both teams showed fighting spirit and a desire to play good soccer, and the referees Ali Mohamadi, Mohamed Aziz, and Malek Georges managed the match professionally.
