On Saturday afternoon, Emmaboda IS faced Lörby IF at Emmaboda IP in front of an audience of 70 people. The referee for the match was Zelda Jakobsson, assisted by Oscar Bergqvist and Mohamad Alhomsi.

In the second half, Emmaboda IS fought their way back into the match and reduced the score through Miranda Robson Gjakova, making it 2-3 in the 49th minute. But Lörby IF kept their composure and again increased their lead through Olivia Johansson, who scored the decisive goal to make it 2-4 in the 57th minute.
The match ended 2-4 in favor of Lörby IF, who took home three much-needed points from Emmaboda IP. Emmaboda IS, on the other hand, will have to focus on bouncing back in their next match in Division 2 Södra Götaland for women.
