The otherwise quiet Åhus IP filled with cheers as the home team Åhus IF defeated Ramdala IF by a staggering 8-0 in one of this year's Division 2 Södra Götaland matches. The home team quickly set the tone, and in the nineteenth minute, Louise Jarl Bergqvist received a pass, turned away from a defender, and sent the ball into the far corner, making it 1-0 to Åhus IF!

Ramdala IF tried to respond but soon realized it was a tough task today as the home team took control. Amanda Rosengren then scored the crucial second goal in the 33rd minute, and it looked like the day was secured for Åhus IF.

In the 41st minute, Ramdala's Marie Andersson received a yellow card, which would prove to be a costly warning. Josefine Mårtensson scored 3-0 just before half-time, sending Åhus IF into the locker room with great confidence.

The second half began just like the first, with the home team dominating. In the 58th minute, Hedda Hemborg scored, and then it was time for Amanda Rosengren to net her second goal of the day. 5-0, and the match was practically decided.

Josefine Mårtensson had an outstanding match, and she too scored her second goal in the 79th minute. Shortly after, Saga Jontoft found the net, and the previously quiet crowd began to sing softly.

In the 89th minute, Jontoft's teammate, Josefine Mårtensson, scored her third and final goal of the day, earning her standing ovations from the loyal Åhus IF supporters in the stands.

The match ended in a sensational 8-0 victory for Åhus IF in a game where they gave it their all, and Ramdala IF had no chance. Åhus IF is now in tenth place in the table while Ramdala IF sits at the bottom. It will require a lot of effort for Ramdala to turn this around.
