It was an exciting and tough match on the A-field at Staffansvallen when FC Staffanstorp hosted Emmaboda IS in Division 2 Södra Götaland for women. With an audience of 77 people and Vlatko Kralev as the referee, along with assistants Ivan Stuardo and Anton Baqaj, both teams knew it would be a challenging game. Before the match, FC Staffanstorp was placed 8th in the table while Emmaboda IS was in 10th place. After the match, the situation remained the same for both teams.

The match started well for FC Staffanstorp when Elin Salmi scored 1-0 just seven minutes in. However, Emmaboda IS did not let this discourage them and equalized only eleven minutes later when Matilda Axelsson made it 1-1. FC Staffanstorp responded quickly when Elin Hoff Bjurvén scored 2-1 just two minutes later.

After the halftime break, neither team returned stronger than the other, but a couple of warnings issued by Vlatko Kralev made it clear that the match was a tough battle. Tilde Elgborn received a warning after 48 minutes for Emmaboda IS, followed by Miranda Robson Gjakova and Jenny Johansson for the team after 58 and 69 minutes, respectively.

With 15 minutes left in the match, Moa Petersson scored 2-2 for Emmaboda IS, which gave the team a tremendous boost in confidence and hope of claiming victory. With just seven minutes remaining, Matilda Axelsson capped off her great performance by scoring her second goal of the match, securing a 3-2 victory for Emmaboda IS. Despite a strong effort from FC Staffanstorp, it was not enough this time.
