The match started at Svarta Led with an early opening goal for GIF Nike when Joel Gunnarsson scored in the 14th minute. Shortly after, Emil Möller received a yellow card for Nike. Sölvesborgs GoIF responded with a yellow card for Alexander Malmström, but it was still Nike that extended their lead through Joel Gunnarsson, going into halftime with a 2-0 advantage.

In the second half, Samir Blekic reduced the score for Sölvesborgs GoIF, but shortly thereafter, Filip Ancher Book received two yellow cards and was sent off. Nike took advantage of this, and Stefan Lindqvist increased the score to 3-1. The match then became more intense with several red cards issued to Sölvesborgs GoIF, including Pierre Johansson and assistant coach Magnus Fairbanks.
