IS Halmia lined up at Örjans Vall in front of an eager crowd of 250 people. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the top team welcomed Torns IF, who were in third place in the standings.
The match started quietly, but after 12 minutes of play, Torns IF's Niklas Nilsson received a yellow card. A couple of minutes later, however, it was Torns IF who took the lead with a goal from Niclas Lundberg.
The pace picked up until the halftime break, and another yellow card was issued, this time to Christopher Nilsson of Torns IF.
At the beginning of the second half, Torns IF made a substitution, bringing on Tomas Martinsson to replace André Brolin Sandstedt. Following that, IS Halmia also made a substitution, with Nehat Bregaj coming on for Kushtrim Maholli.
After 62 minutes of play, IS Halmia's Rickard Boman received a yellow card before Torns IF extended their lead with a free-kick goal from Erik Rönningberg.
IS Halmia substituted Adam Wencel for Egzon Maholli and pressed for a reduction, which Niclas Taube achieved in the 74th minute.
Torns IF then made two substitutions, while Daniel Hidefält Thulin received a yellow card late in the match.
But despite IS Halmia’s hard work, they were unable to score again, and the match ended 1-2 in favor of Torns IF. After the match, Torns IF climbed up in the standings while IS Halmia dropped to second place.
