BW 90 IF managed to secure an away victory against Hässleholms IF at Österås IP A-plan in tonight’s Division 2 Södra Götaland match. Despite a minimal crowd in the stands, it was an eventful match with several goals and cautions.
It was BW 90 IF who took the lead in the 57th minute with a beautiful strike from Geronimo Balint. Just a few minutes later, they extended their lead through Mamudu Moro, and it seemed like it would be a comfortable win for the away team.
However, Hässleholms IF fought their way back into the match and reduced the deficit in the 79th minute through Joel Svensson. Despite several attempts to equalize, they could not score again, and the match ended 1-2 in favor of BW 90 IF.
Referee Mikael Karl Persson maintained a strict line and issued warnings to both Hässleholms IF and BW 90 IF during the match. Despite an exciting second half, the home team could not turn the match around and ended up defeated on home soil.
