Referee Henrik Reffers blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn't take long for the home team to take the lead. Already in the 16th minute, Jim Nylander found the net for Österlen FF, creating excitement in the stands.
Edis Agelius equalized for Asarums IF FK in the 32nd minute, but Jim Nylander regained the lead for Österlen FF just eleven minutes later. The halftime whistle blew, and the score was 2-1 in favor of the home team.
