FK Karlskrona secured an important victory at home on Friday evening when they faced Nybro IF in Division 2 Södra Götaland. Playing in front of an empty Karlskrona IP against Nybro IF, it was the away team who took the lead after 14 minutes through Marcus Fransson. FK Karlskrona quickly responded and equalized after 35 minutes with a goal from Anton Dahlström.
Nybro IF regained the lead early in the second half when Karzan Eliassi scored from a penalty after a foul situation. Both teams then made several substitutions, and FK Karlskrona increasingly pushed for an offensive. In the 76th minute, Nybro's Gezim Dalipi was sent off after a hard tackle, and FK Karlskrona began to create more and more chances. In the 83rd minute, Alexander Petersson equalized to 2-2, and just a few minutes later, in the 88th minute, Petersson scored his second goal, giving the home team a 3-2 lead.
Nybro IF desperately tried to equalize, but FK Karlskrona managed to hold on and secured an important victory at home. Christoffer Södergren was the referee for the day, assisted by Alexander Bergqvist and Tome Tasev as assistant referees. Despite the lack of an audience, the teams provided a tight match with many chances and drama.
