The match between BK Olympic and Asarums IF FK at Lindängen IP in Malmö was an exciting event where both teams did their best to secure the victory. Despite the absence of spectators in the stands, the teams delivered an entertaining match.
It was Asarums IF FK who took the lead after just eleven minutes of play with a fine strike from Karl Lindqvist. The team continued to press on and extended their lead just before halftime when Hampus Bergdahl scored to make it 0-2.
BK Olympic fought to get back into the game and reduced the deficit through Ken Hansson in the 59th minute. Despite a few dangerous chances from both teams, neither could manage to score again during the remainder of the match.
In the final moments of the game, Asarum increased the tempo, and Mattis Gustavsson scored the 1-3 goal in the last minute of regular time. BK Olympic desperately tried to come back, but Asarums held on and secured three important points in Division 2 Södra Götaland.
Referee Christoffer Aidesjö maintained good control of the match and issued a couple of warnings to players from both teams for tough play. Despite a valiant effort from BK Olympic, it was ultimately Asarums IF FK who could celebrate the victory away from home.
