IFK Malmö FK hosted Torns IF at Malmö Stadion in front of a small crowd of only 62 people. The referee Fredrik Rönning and his assistants Ismar Huremovic and Ahmed Mohammed officiated the match between the teams that had different standings in Division 2 Södra Götaland.
Already after three minutes, Torns IF took the lead through Christopher Musonda and then extended it to 2-0 via André Johansson in the 27th minute. Tobias Karlsson and Daniel Hidefält Thulin were two players from Torns IF who received yellow cards during the first half.
IFK Malmö FK managed to reduce the score to 1-2 with a goal from Mohammad El-Kayed in the 57th minute, giving them some hope of making a comeback in the match. But it was Torns IF that came out on top when Farhang Fathiyan scored to make it 1-3 in the 86th minute.
However, the match became a bit contentious in the final moments when Sami Güngör from IFK Malmö FK received two yellow cards and was sent off. IFK Malmö FK tried to come back with one player less, but it was Torns IF that managed to hold on and secure three points.
After the match, IFK Malmö FK remained in 11th place in the table while Torns IF maintained their fourth place. It was a well-played match where Torns IF demonstrated strong performance and achieved a convincing away victory.
