Asarums IF FK hosted IFK Karlshamn at home on Saturday afternoon, in front of an audience of 500 at Asarums IP 1 (A-plan) in Division 2 Södra Götaland. Niklas Andersson was the main referee, assisted by Ermin Zubcevic and Hamaad Waezi.
In the first half, it took until the 24th minute for the first goal to come. Hampus Holgersson scored 1-0 for Asarums IF FK. Although the visitors, IFK Karlshamn, tried to apply pressure, the first half ended with the home team in the lead.
The second half proved to be more eventful. In the 47th minute, Sheverinio Blanker received a warning from the referee. Nine minutes later, IFK Karlshamn capitalized with a header into the goal from Karl Lindqvist, equalizing at 1-1.
Asarums IF FK substituted William Ohnysson in the 63rd minute, and just minutes later, Sheverinio Blanker was replaced by Henrik Fribrock. After another seven minutes, Chinedue Stephan Madueke squandered a chance when he received a warning for not contributing to the defensive play.
In the 72nd minute, Asarums IF FK put in the hard work and tested IFK Karlshamn's defense. Following a defensive counterattack, IFK Karlshamn's players tried to clear the ball, but instead, it took a strange path and was inadvertently scored into the net by the wrong team, resulting in an own goal that made it 2-1 for the home team.
In the 76th minute, IFK Karlshamn substituted two players, Eric Kennartsson and Shahin Feizi, in an attempt to secure a late equalizer. In the 86th minute, David Gustavsson was substituted for Adam Svensson for Asarums IF FK.
The match was tough, and Karl Lindqvist received a warning in the 90th minute. Asarums IF FK brought on Oliver Andersson for Hampus Holgersson in the 90th minute, and despite a last effort from IFK Karlshamn, the result could not be changed, and Asarums IF FK won 2-1.
