Österlen FF faced Eslövs BK at Skillinge IP in an exciting match in Division 2 Södra Götaland. In front of 215 spectators, it was the home team that took the lead after 22 minutes of play through Dardan Mustafa, who scored after a nice pass from Albin Önneflod. Eslövs BK, however, did not show much concern and fought on, managing to equalize just before halftime when Emil Persson headed the ball in after a corner kick.

At halftime, Österlen FF decided to substitute the goalscorer Mustafa for Hugo Bjurnemark, and it would prove to be a successful maneuver. Just two minutes into the second half, Bjurnemark scored his first goal of the day after a fine individual effort. Eslövs BK tried to respond, but Österlen's defense held firm, and the visitors struggled to create really dangerous scoring chances.

Referee Fidan Hasani issued several warnings throughout the match, including one to Eslövs Andreas Ruggieri, who also came on as a substitute in the second half. Despite the away team pressing and creating some dangerous situations in the end, Österlen FF held on and could win the match 2-1. After the match, the goalscorer Bjurnemark was praised by coaches and teammates for his match-winning performance.
