On a sunny Saturday afternoon at Räppevallen 1 in Växjö, Räppe GOIF faced FBK Balkan in Division 2 Södra Götaland. Despite there being no spectators present, the teams put on an exciting match.

It was Räppe GOIF who took the lead after 20 minutes when William Thellsson converted a penalty, awarded after one of the FBK Balkan players fouled another in the penalty area. Balkan's players were not satisfied with referee Stefan Velevski's decision and protested, but the goal stood.

Räppe continued to create chances and had several opportunities to extend their lead, but Balkan's defense held firm. Instead, Räppe received two yellow cards just before halftime, for Ture Spendler and Oliver Gustafson.

At halftime, Räppe GOIF made two substitutions, bringing on Dennis Svernfors and Butrint Vllasalija for Gustav Fälth and Almir Jasarevic. Balkan also substituted two players, with Artan Beka and Florent Sopi being replaced by Lucas Hallberg Wotango and Ahmad Radi.

The second half continued at the same pace as the first, with Räppe creating most of the chances. Albin Önneflod received a warning after 52 minutes and was then substituted for Filip Jeppsson in the 55th minute.

Balkan also made several substitutions during the match, with Carl Puumalainen coming on for Lucas Alm and Silas Elias Danris replacing Albin Asklund in the 76th minute. Meanwhile, Max'Med Omar Mohamed received a yellow card for Balkan, while Ahmad Radi was warned for a tough tackle in the 82nd minute.

The match ultimately ended with a 1-0 victory for Räppe GOIF, who claimed three important points in Division 2 Södra Götaland. Balkan fought hard and kept the game even for large parts of the match, but Räppe's defense proved too tough to break through. New challenges await both teams in the upcoming season.
