It was a serious beating as Österlen FF faced FK Karlskrona at Skillinge IP in Division 2 Södra Götaland on Sunday afternoon. It didn’t take even a quarter of an hour from the kickoff before the visitors struck and scored the first goal of the match. Nisse Ekström was the one who did the job, and 0-1 was snugly in the net behind Österlen's goalkeeper.

After just over 20 minutes, it was time for Ekström to shake the net again as he scored 0-2. But with the goals came a warning for Ekström, who had been a bit too eager in his play.

Karlskrona continued to dominate the match, and with just over 30 minutes played, Hugo Lundqvist also got on the scoresheet to make it 0-3. Österlen desperately tried to mount some sort of offense, but it was Karlskrona that continued to have control.

At halftime, the home team made a substitution, bringing in Hugo Göransson for Gustav Jönsson, but it did little to help. Immediately after the break, it was time for Hampus Holgersson to score 0-4 for the visiting team.

Österlen tried to do something to get back into the match, but Karlskrona continued to dominate. With just over a quarter of an hour left in the match, the away team made a couple of substitutions, and in the 80th minute, it was time for Oliver Nielsen to score 0-5 and put an end to the match.

The game ended in a hefty defeat for Österlen, who will have to ponder their gameplay ahead of upcoming matches. FK Karlskrona, on the other hand, can be more than satisfied with their performance and take all three points from Skillinge IP.
