Selånger FK dominated right from the start and took the lead just 5 minutes into the match through Josefine Thunholm. Sund IF tried to respond, but it was Selånger that increased their lead with two more goals from Julia Hennström and Josefine Thunholm before halftime.

In the second half, Sund IF attempted to get back into the game by making two substitutions, but Selånger held firm with their defense and controlled the play. Despite several attempts to reduce the deficit, Sund IF was unsuccessful, and instead, Selånger made a fourth substitution by bringing in Hazal Altuntas. Towards the end of the match, Stina Bergseje also came on to help maintain Selånger's lead.

The match ended 0-3 in favor of Selånger FK, who took home three points from Malands IP. The audience in attendance witnessed an entertaining match where Selånger displayed strong play and efficiency in front of goal.
