IF Team Hudik 2 and IK Huge faced off at Glysis Sparbanken Arena in an exciting match in Division 2 Södra Norrland for women. Only 57 spectators made their way to the arena on a lovely Sunday afternoon to watch the game. The referees officiating the match were Mohammed Amiri, assisted by Housin Abobakr and Michaela Guirguis.
The match started evenly, but it was IK Huge who took the lead in the 41st minute through Tyra Hedin, who scored the ball into the net. IF Team Hudik 2 struggled to find their rhythm in the game, and just before halftime, they conceded an own goal, allowing IK Huge to extend their lead to 2-0.
After halftime, IF Team Hudik 2 attempted to catch up and succeeded when Elsa Johansson scored the team's first goal in the 49th minute, giving them new energy. However, IK Huge remained strong and increased their lead in the 65th minute with a goal from Wilma Söderberg, who found the net for her team’s third goal of the match.
IF Team Hudik 2 continued to fight and managed to score another goal in the 90th minute through Hilda Arnesson, but despite their efforts, it wasn’t enough to earn a point in the match. The game concluded with a victory for IK Huge with a score of 3-2.
It was a well-played and exciting match that featured some good scoring opportunities; however, IK Huge proved to be the stronger team and capitalized on their chances. IF Team Hudik 2 will need to continue working on their game to advance in the league and reach greater heights.
