It was a match that began in a very entertaining manner when BK Kenty took the lead through Shaban Jusufi in the 21st minute. Kenty was in the lead and tried to extend their advantage, but Värmdö IF was not ready to give up so easily. Värmdö worked hard to get back into the match, and they equalized in the 37th minute through Michel Da Silva, calming the nerves on the Värmdö bench.
The second half started with Värmdö IF regaining control of the game and pushing forward. They were sharp in attack and created several dangerous situations in Kenty's defense. In the 57th minute, Värmdö substituted Tor Ingvaldsson Ranniste for Yassir Ibrahim Ismail, a move aimed at boosting their offense. This was also a refreshing change for Värmdö's attack as they continued to press and look for the next goal.
Värmdö eventually got their reward in the 75th minute when Michel Da Silva scored his second goal of the match. Kenty tried to regain control of the game, but Värmdö defended well and held firm. Värmdö substituted Josef Rakez and Rebaz-Cardo Diliwi in the 70th minute, bringing on Bubakary Sonko and Erik Gustafsson. This move played in Värmdö's favor as they gained better control over the game and slowed the pace of the match.
BK Kenty had to increase the tempo and brought Simon Davour on in the 60th minute for Emil Nilsson. But Värmdö continued to hold firm in defense while trying to extend their lead. Kenty also substituted Petter Forsberg and Gustaf Hübinette in the 78th and 84th minutes respectively, but it was too late, and the match ended 1 - 2 in favor of Värmdö IF. Johan Fält, assisted by referees Daniel Iskander and Per Sjöberg, had no choice but to blow the final whistle on Värmdö's victory.
