Värmdö IF was clearly the stronger team when they faced FC Gute at Värmdövallen 1. Already in the 31st minute, Värmdö took the lead through Nicholas Netteryd, who scored to give his team a 1-0 advantage.
Just six minutes later, Värmdö extended their lead when Bubakary Sonko found the net, making it 2-0 for the home team. Before halftime, Sonko managed to score another goal, sending Värmdö into the break with a 3-0 lead.
In the second half, Värmdö continued to demonstrate their dominance, but despite several scoring opportunities, they failed to increase their lead further. Instead, it was Viktor Segerlund from FC Gute who received a yellow card in the 54th minute.
FC Gute attempted to get back into the match by making two substitutions in the 59th and 70th minutes, but it did not help. Värmdö maintained their lead and closed out the match impressively.
When the referee blew the whistle to end the match, it was clear that Värmdö IF had won 3-0, securing three much-needed points in Division 2 Södra Svealand. A convincing victory in front of the home crowd at Värmdövallen 1, with an audience of 187 people.
