It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when Ekerö IK hosted IK Sleipner at Träkvistavallen in front of an audience of 230 people. Referee Metin Yildirim officiated the match along with assistant referees Kamal Berrahmoune and Senharib Asmar.
The match started off evenly, but in the 21st minute, Ekerö IK's Erik Thorell received a yellow card. Then, in the 34th minute, IK Sleipner took the lead through Andreas Bäckmark, making it 0-1.
At halftime, Ekerö IK made two substitutions, including bringing in Niklas Tonneman to strengthen the team. Unfortunately, Ekerö IK was unable to turn the match around, and instead, IK Sleipner scored their second goal through Sunday Eyenga in the 62nd minute.
After the goal, the intensity increased, and several players received yellow cards. Among those booked were John Lyberg and Erik Thorell from Ekerö IK, while Kutshi Moilo, Tobias Häll, and Peter Skoog from IK Sleipner also were cautioned.
In the final minutes of the match, Ekerö IK made another substitution in an attempt to create chances going forward, but IK Sleipner held strong and eventually won 0-2. Despite a determined effort from Ekerö IK, they could not equalize and were defeated by the visiting IK Sleipner.
