The match between Värmdö IF and Assyriska IF in Norrköping at Värmdövallen 1 was an easy game for the home team. Already in the 9th minute, Värmdö took the lead through Malcolm Thompson, and it was just the beginning of a goal-filled afternoon.
In the 18th minute, Assyriska made a substitution in an attempt to change the flow of the match, but it didn’t help. Just two minutes later, Sonko scored his second goal of the day, making it 4-0 for Värmdö.
In the second half, Värmdö continued to dominate the match, and Assyriska received several warnings. Värmdö also made some substitutions to try to maintain the tempo, and in the 85th minute, Josef Rakez scored to make it 5-0 for the home team.
However, Assyriska managed to find the net for a consolation goal through Igor Cavkov in the 92nd minute, but it was a negligible comfort in what was otherwise a superior match by Värmdö.
When the referee blew the final whistle, the score was 5-1 in favor of Värmdö IF, and the crowd at Värmdövallen 1 could happily head home after watching their team deliver an impressive victory.
