On Saturday afternoon, Motala AIF FK faced Södertälje FK in an exciting match in Division 2 Södra Svealand for men at Idrottsparken in Motala. Unfortunately, the arena was empty of spectators. Levente Szasz was the main referee, assisted by Benit Ropica and Joseph Matti.
The match started with intense play from both teams, but it didn’t take long before David Yarar from Södertälje FK received a yellow card after 18 minutes. Only eight minutes later, Charles Isimeme from the same team also received a yellow card.
At the 31-minute mark, Renato Rako from the home team, Motala AIF FK, scored the first goal, giving his team a 1-0 lead. In the 39th minute, Robin Larsen from Motala FK received a yellow card.
At the end of the first half, Esat Jashari from Motala AIF FK scored a goal that increased the lead to 2-0, which was a significant advantage heading into the second half.
At the beginning of the second half, Alexander Varli from Södertälje FK also received a yellow card after 50 minutes. Five minutes later, Andreas Borg from the home team also received a yellow card.
However, it was Motala AIF FK that dominated the game, and in the 63rd minute, Esat Jashari scored his second goal of the day, increasing the lead to 3-0.
At the end of the match, several substitutions were made by both teams, but it did not help Södertälje FK to recover and overturn the 3-0 deficit. Motala AIF FK won the match deservedly and can now celebrate a strong victory at home.
