The match between Vimmerby IF and Smedby AIS at Arena Ceosvallen 1 turned out to be a really exciting event. Despite the empty stands, there was high intensity on the pitch.
Already in the 19th minute, Smedby AIS took the lead through Anton Bäckstedt. Vimmerby IF struggled to get into the match, and it wasn't until the 44th minute that Smedby AIS extended their lead to 2-0 through Haris Sijarić, who also scored from a penalty.
Just before halftime, Vimmerby IF received a red card when Nic Rydholm picked up his second yellow card and had to leave the field.
During the break, Vimmerby IF made two substitutions that proved to be successful. In the 57th minute, Jimmy Svensson reduced the score to 1-2, and just three minutes later, he equalized to 2-2.
The match became very intense, and both teams had chances to decide the outcome, but it ended in a draw at 2-2. Smedby AIS received two yellow cards towards the end of the match through Felix Wahlgren and Svante Allert.
It was an eventful match where both teams fought hard, but in the end, the scoreboard read 2-2 when the referee blew the final whistle.
