FC Linköping City earned a nice victory in their final match of the year in Division 2 Södra Svealand. Värmdö IF hosted the league leaders at home in a deserted arena with no spectators. After a goalless first half, two quick goals came in for the visitors at the end of the half. First, in stoppage time, Levon Pachajyan found the net, and just minutes later, Andreas Johansson scored the second goal from a free kick.
The match became physical, and referee Patrik Magnetorp had to show eight yellow cards. For FC Linköping City, Besart Kalludra and Levon Pachajyan received cautions, while Linus Christensen and Gordon Jordell were booked for the home team. William Palmén also received a late caution, making it difficult for Värmdö IF to salvage the match.
Both teams made substitutions at halftime, and Värmdö IF made one more substitution later in the second half in an attempt to create more attacking opportunities. Erik Ejermark replaced Viggo Sjöberg in the 82nd minute. However, FC Linköping City held firm and secured the victory, finishing in first place in the league table, while Värmdö IF ended up in seventh place.
