Motala AIF FK achieved a resounding victory as they defeated Huddinge IF 5-3 in a match played on Saturday afternoon at Idrottsparken in Motala. The home team was truly in top form, taking the lead as early as the fifth minute through Renato Rako. Rako was a constant threat to Huddinge’s defense, scoring another goal before the clock had even ticked up to 13 minutes.
Eldin Lugonja also showcased his skill in the first half, scoring two goals within a span of 9 minutes, which brought Motala to a solid 4-0 lead. Towards the end of the first half, Huddinge managed to bring on Johan Edeland, Tshutshu Tshakasua Wa Tshakasua, and Tobias Corneliusson in an attempt to change their fortunes.
In the second half, Huddinge also substituted in Julius Armalis, who demonstrated his capability by scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately for Huddinge, Motala scored more goals in the second half as well, with Johannes Ehn netting goal number 5 and leaving his mark on the match.
Both teams made several substitutions during the second half, but it was Huddinge's Tshutshu Tshakasua Wa Tshakasua and Tobias Corneliusson who managed to score two goals towards the end of the match. Sadly for them, it was too little too late, and Motala secured a much-needed victory. A total of 282 people had come to Idrottsparken to watch the match, which was officiated by Admir Hasanbegovic, assisted by Viktor Sundberg and Sirwan Zangana.
