AFK Linköping secured a comfortable home victory in Thursday’s match against Tyresö FF, with a score of 3-1 at Bilbörsen Arena. AFK Linköping started strong and took the lead just 21 minutes in through Adam Larsson, who struck perfectly from the penalty area and placed the ball into Tyresö's net. Linköping's victory was never in doubt, while Tyresö FF seemed to struggle to create scoring opportunities and watched Santiago Mathias Santacruz Britez extend AFK's lead to 2-0 just a few minutes into the second half. Only a few minutes later, Adam Larsson scored his second goal of the match, making it 3-0 for Linköping, and the game seemed decided.

Tyresö FF created some chances towards the end of the match, and Adonis Pelagias' goal in the 57th minute was a much-needed consolation for the away team. Unfortunately for Tyresö FF, it was not enough to earn any points in the match, but the team fought on and showed good morale despite tough financial times.

The match was officiated by referee Alban Mustafa, who managed a well-directed game with the help of assistant referees Ulrik Hedfjärd and Bengt Gustafsson. The match was played in front of a small crowd of just 50 people, but that did not stop the teams from giving their all on the pitch.

After the match, AFK Linköping stands in eighth place in the table, while Tyresö FF is in eleventh place. Despite the loss, Tyresö FF showed heart and fighting spirit, which hopefully bodes well for the future.
