Arameisk-Syrianska IF took an early lead in the 38th minute through Shergo Shhab, but Trosa-Vagnhärad SK struck back just a few minutes later when Teddy Wallin equalized in the 41st minute. Marcus Björklund then scored the second goal for Trosa-Vagnhärad SK at the beginning of the second half, giving them a 2-1 lead.

In the 54th minute, Arameisk-Syrianska IF made the substitution of Robin Baysal for Yousef Yousef, which would prove to be a crucial factor at the end of the match. Trosa-Vagnhärad SK players Wallin and George received yellow cards in the middle of the second half.
