Värmbols FC hosted IFK Eskilstuna at home on a sunny Wednesday evening at Värmbols IP, in front of an audience of 100 people. Referee Jesper Fredholm officiated, assisted by Nael Ghazi Shabo and Dany Kako.
The match began with a tactical battle from both teams, but it wasn't until the 34th minute that we saw the first yellow card when IFK Eskilstuna's Michael Dome-Bemwin received a caution. Just before halftime, Värmbols FC was awarded a penalty, but David Strömgren missed and shot the ball wide of the goal.
In the 53rd minute, Robin Holm from IFK Eskilstuna also received a yellow card, before Värmbols FC made their first substitution in the 58th minute, bringing in Emil Olsson for Ebenezer Baraka Biregey.
Finally, in the 70th minute, the long-awaited goal came when David Strömgren scored to make it 1-0 for Värmbols FC. Just a few minutes later, Värmbols FC made another substitution as Yonathan Mulugheta replaced Ibrahim Aldawoud.
IFK Eskilstuna tried to fight their way back into the match by bringing in Amadaiya Rennie for Robin Holm in the 63rd minute. However, it was Värmbols FC who were the most dangerous in the closing stages, and in the 83rd minute, they increased their lead to 2-0 through Brhane Samson Mesfun.
The match ended 2-0 in favor of Värmbols FC after a strong performance from the home team. It was an important victory that brought them closer to the top of Division 2 Södra Svealand.
