It was an exciting match at Tunavallen as IFK Eskilstuna hosted Värmbols FC in Division 2 Södra Svealand on Wednesday evening. At kick-off, the arena had around 250 hungry football fans in the stands and referee Suhel Youssef officiated the match with the assistance of Hisham Abo-Jiriy and Pierre Zakaria.

The match started well for the home team as Emil Fritzell scored a goal after just seven minutes of play, giving IFK Eskilstuna an early lead. After 23 minutes, Alexander De Carolis received a yellow card, and Värmbols FC took advantage of their opportunity after 34 minutes when Eldin Lugonja scored, leveling the game. Just before half-time, David Strömgren broke down the IFK Eskilstuna defense and netted the second goal for Värmbols FC.

After the half-time break, Värmbols FC scored another goal through Emil Sterler after 75 minutes. However, IFK Eskilstuna showed that they weren’t going to give up easily, as after a hat trick from Emil Fritzell and a header goal in the 83rd minute, the home team managed to reduce the deficit to 2-3. After the 87th minute, Värmbols FC substituted in both Fabian Falk and Ibrahem Saleh to strengthen their team, but it was the home team that scored the last goal of the match. Robin Holm found the net in the 90+1 minute, equalizing to 3-3. Unfortunately, Holm received a yellow card just after the goal and Kevin Dyplin also received a yellow card in the 90+3 minute for IFK Eskilstuna.

The match ended 3-3 after 90 thrilling minutes at Tunavallen, and both teams walked away with one point each. Although IFK Eskilstuna didn’t manage to secure three points, they can take away the realization that they never gave up and fought their way back into the match. However, Värmbols FC had led the match for longer periods. This was a match that definitely offered a lot of excitement and good play for all involved.
