On this Saturday afternoon, the teams Mjölby AI FF and Motala AIF FK met at Vifolkavallen A, in front of an audience of 500 people. The referee trio Augin Melki, Alexander Bitar, and Jacob Mourad officiated the match.
After a quarter of an hour in the first half, Motala took the lead 1-0 through Valon Silka, which also became the halftime score. But just before the halftime break, Mjölby was awarded a penalty, which Jesper Beurling converted successfully to equalize to 1-1.

In the second half, Mjölby continued to pressure Motala, and in the 55th minute, Emil Dagnäs scored to make it 2-1 for the home team. Axel Qvist received a yellow card for the away team immediately after the goal.
Motala tried to find a way back into the match and substituted David Lantz for Axel Qvist in the 58th minute. Ivan Rako received a yellow card for Motala in the 60th minute. Mjölby’s Emil Dagnäs and coach Daniel Carlsson Friberg also received yellow cards in this match.
Motala attempted a late push and brought on Edon Silka and Ibrahim Koroma in the 72nd and 76th minutes, respectively. However, it was Mjölby who held on and tried to extend their lead with Martin Ingesson coming on in the 85th minute.
The last event of the match, however, was not a goal or substitution, but the sending off of Motala's Andreas Carlström in the 90th minute. Mjölby won 2-1 and secured three crucial points in Division 2 Södra Svealand.
