Sunday evening featured an exciting match between Syrianska FC and Assyriska FF at Södertälje Football Arena in front of 1,250 spectators. It was Syrianska who took the lead after eight minutes when Ramez Matti scored, which turned out to be the only goal-scoring chance in the first half.

In the second half, much more happened on the pitch. Assyriska began to assert themselves, and after 58 minutes, they equalized through Alagi Sosseh. Syrianska continued to fight but struggled to create chances going forward. Instead, it was Assyriska who were awarded a penalty at the end of the match, and with Sosseh converting, they made it 2-1 in the 93rd minute.

The match was marked by many cautions and red cards, first for Steven Younan of Syrianska, and then also for Christian Aphrem of Assyriska. The final score was 2-1 in favor of Assyriska, which solidifies their position in second place in the league table while Syrianska remains in ninth place. Referee Jasin Holmegren had his hands full managing the players during an exuberant and dramatic match.
