Assyriska FF took an early lead in the match after just four minutes when Ferid Ali found the net behind Karlbergs BK's goalkeeper. The home team continued to dominate in the first half and extended their lead to 2-0 with a penalty goal from Alagi Sosseh in the 48th minute.

Karlbergs BK came to life in the second half and reduced the deficit to 2-1 through Anderson Ponciano Da Silva Santos Filho in the 52nd minute. The visiting team brought on Herekol Bayram and Adrian Hamidi in search of an equalizer.
