In a close and exciting match between Runsten/Möckleby IF and BK Union at Runvallen in Spjutterum, two strong teams faced each other in front of an engaged crowd of 50 spectators. Referee Zelda Jakobsson kept a close eye on the match, assisted by her linesmen Elias Darwish and Konny Antonsson.
It was BK Union who took the lead early in the match when Maja Saar scored to make it 1-0 in the 9th minute. However, Runsten/Möckleby IF fought their way back, and Alma Folkesson equalized to 1-1 in the 36th minute. BK Union regained the lead in the 55th minute through Emmy Olofsson, but Elin Eriksson once again equalized for Runsten/Möckleby IF in the 60th minute.
BK Union then took the lead once more through Maja Saar in the 65th minute, but Runsten/Möckleby IF did not give up and managed to score an own goal in the 72nd minute to equalize at 3-3. BK Union received a warning when assistant coach Mattias Svensson was cautioned in the 74th minute.
The match would be decided late on, and it was Maja Milleback who became the match hero for Runsten/Möckleby IF when she scored the winning goal to make it 4-3 in the 78th minute. After a hard-fought battle and a truly thrilling match, Runsten/Möckleby IF took home three points, winning 4-3 in front of their home crowd at Runvallen. A well-played match that provided plenty of entertainment and drama right up to the final second.
