Västra Karup and Hittarp faced off in an exciting match on Saturday. It was a close game where both teams could have taken the lead. However, it was Västra Karups IF that took the lead after fifty minutes. Cornelia Rahmberg found the net after a nice pass from Julia Persson.
Hittarp tried to create chances and came close several times, but Västra Karups IF held firm and defended their lead until the final whistle. It was an intense match with several heated moments, but referee Filip Kichidis managed the game well.
The attendance was low with only fifty-six people present, but those who were there witnessed a tight football match with many fine performances.
After the match, Västra Karup was pleased with the three points while Hittarp was disappointed with the loss. The next match day is on April 16, when Västra Karups IF will host IFK Malmö at Västra Karups IP A-plan. Hittarps IK will then face LB07 at home at Sjöaremossen IP.
