It was an exciting match between Mariebo IK and Qviding FIF at Mariebovallen in Jönköping. After an intense first half, the score was 2-2 heading into the second half.
It was Qviding FIF that opened the scoring through Antonia Ferm Sandberg, who made it 0-1 in the eighth minute. However, Mariebo IK quickly bounced back and responded with Amanda Harlin, who equalized to 1-1 in the 17th minute. Just four minutes later, Mariebo IK took the lead through Emma Holmqvist Biltmark, making it 2-1.
Qviding FIF did not give up and equalized through Åsa Holmberg in the 41st minute. But it was Amanda Harlin who became the match hero for Mariebo IK when she scored her second goal of the match, putting them ahead 3-2 in the 74th minute.
The match was also eventful off the field when Qviding FIF's contact person, Anders Holmvén, was sent off in the 80th minute.
When the final whistle blew, the score was 3-2 in favor of Mariebo IK, who thus secured an important victory against the second-placed Qviding FIF. The spectators at Mariebovallen were treated to an entertaining match with plenty of goals and drama on the field.
