The match between Nittorps IK and IF Böljan at Åsavallen on Sunday afternoon offered an exciting affair despite the empty stands. IF Böljan started strong, and already in the 5th minute, Sara Nilsson scored to make it 0-1 after a nice combination. Just 18 minutes later, Nilsson increased her tally and scored again, making it 0-2 for the away team.

Nittorps IK did not give up without a fight, and in the 30th minute, Maria Carlsson reduced the score to 1-2, giving her team hope heading into the second half. At halftime, Nittorps IK made a substitution, bringing in Therese Josefsson for Anna-Karin Kindberg.

The second half was eventful with several goals and substitutions. IF Böljan extended their lead to 1-3 in the 77th minute through Nathalié Östman, but Nittorps IK did not give up. Just one minute later, Klara Lindberg reduced the score to 2-3, giving the home team new energy.

However, IF Böljan managed to find the net again through Amanda Johansson and Josefine Walker, who scored one goal each in the 84th and 85th minutes, resulting in a 2-5 victory for the away team. Despite a late substitution with Rebecka Axengren coming on for Rebecca Ontero, Nittorps IK could not get any closer, and the match ended in defeat for the home team.

After the match, Nittorps IK is second to last in the table, while IF Böljan retains their position in 3rd place. It was a tough but entertaining match at Åsavallen where IF Böljan came out on top.
