The sixth round of Division 2 Västra Götaland for women was played on Valhalla 1 Artificial Grass between Qviding FIF and Falkenbergs FF in an empty arena. The experienced officiating team, with Oskar Kanerva as the main referee and Cristian Badescu and Garod Kirakos as assistant referees, was present to oversee the match.
The match began with intense play from both teams, but it was Qviding FIF who took the lead in the 38th minute when Ida Alexandersson beautifully lifted the ball over Falkenbergs FF’s goalkeeper and into the net to make it 1-0.
Falkenbergs FF did not give up, and just a few minutes later, in the 45th minute, Agnes Juraskovic capitalized on an opportunity and equalized for the team at 1-1.
The second half started with strong offensive play from Qviding FIF, and in the 58th minute, Stella Andersson increased the lead to 2-0 with a powerful shot that no one could save.
Falkenbergs FF had not given up, and in the 70th minute, Tuva Persson reduced the deficit to 2-1 and continued to fight for an equalizer. In the final minute of regular time, Tuva Persson managed to push through and netted the ball, giving the team a much-needed equalizer at 2-2.
Although both teams continued to create chances, the match concluded at 2-2, ending with a shared point. Despite the lack of spectators, the match provided excitement, with Qviding FIF having a strong first half, while Falkenbergs FF fought back in the second half.
