It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when Hovås Billdal IF hosted league leaders Örgryte IS Fotboll at Hovåsvallen 1 Grass in front of a crowd of 49 spectators. The referee for the day was Samarth Katiyar, assisted by Adam Granquist and Marcus Isaksson.
Already in the second minute, Örgryte took the lead through Frida Bremer and continued to dominate the match. Isabelle Löfvendahl scored both the second and third goals before halftime and then completed her hat trick just before the break.
The second half started with an unfortunate own goal from Hovås Billdal IF before Bella Björklund increased the score to 5-0 just before the hour mark. Mathilda Sjöström contributed with two quick goals, and Hester Stöckl capped off the scoring with her goal to make it 9-0 in the 84th minute.
Örgryte IS Fotboll demonstrated their dominance and won a convincing victory with a score of 9-0 against Hovås Billdal IF. Despite an effort from the home team to fight back, it was the league leaders who secured three important points in the battle for promotion.
