IK Zenith bounced back against Hittarps IK in an intense match on Sunday afternoon. The attendance was quite modest, with only 20 people watching the match. But those who were there got to see a really exciting game between two evenly matched teams.
The match started with a quick lead for Hittarps IK, as Hanna Jensen performed well and managed to put the ball behind the Zenith goalkeeper. But Zenith didn't give up easily, and just two minutes later, Ella Baldebo equalized for the home team.
Minutes later, Zenith took the lead with a goal from Sandra Mannerstråle. Hittarps' Blenisa Zogejani then ensured another equalizer, but Zenith increased the tempo and responded quickly. Sara Baldebo's goal in the 52nd minute put Zenith back in the lead.
From this point, Zenith was the more dominant team, showing that they needed this win to stay on top of the table. In the 70th minute, Sara Aronsson scored her second goal of the day, giving Zenith a two-goal lead that they maintained until the match ended.
It was a thrilling match from both teams, but Zenith demonstrated that they had more experience and talent than their opponents. Hittarps IK therefore went home without any points, while Zenith enjoyed their lead at the top of the table.
