The match between Stafsinge IF and Askims IK at Stafsinge IP 1 started intensely with an early goal from the home team. Anneli Bengtsson managed to put the ball in the net already in the 5th minute, giving Stafsinge an early lead.
However, Askims IK fought their way back into the match, and Astrid Fors was able to equalize to 1-1 in the 18th minute. But Stafsinge IF demonstrated their goal-scoring ability, and Amanda Johansson scored her first goal of the match in the 25th minute, which also became the halftime score of 2-1 in favor of the home team.
In the second half, Stafsinge IF continued to dominate, and Amanda Johansson once again showed that she was in goal-scoring form by netting her second goal of the match in the 80th minute, setting the final score at 3-1 for Stafsinge.
Askims IK tried to stay in the match but struggled to create more dangerous chances. Only one warning was issued during the match, to Askims coach Erika Faith.
After an exciting and well-played match, Stafsinge IF were finally able to celebrate a well-deserved victory in front of their 55 supporters in the stands. With the win, they also climbed a few places in the standings while Askims IK continued to struggle at the bottom of Division 2 Västra Götaland.
