IK Zenith had full control from start to finish in their match against BK Astrio. Already five minutes in, the home team took the lead through Ellen Richardson, and just two minutes later, Lisa Millard Javette extended the lead to 2-0.
Astrio tried to get back into the match, but Zenith was too strong. Tilda Andrén made it 3-0 after 19 minutes, and Victoria Klimovska increased the lead to 4-0 just before halftime.
When the second half began, the home team continued to dominate. Frida Steene scored 5-0 after 39 minutes, and just three minutes later, it was once again Tilda Andrén who found the net.
Astrio tried to stop the bleeding, but with five minutes remaining in the match, Lisa Millard Javette scored her second goal, bringing the final score to 7-0.
This was a completely superior victory for IK Zenith, which showed why they are one of the top contenders in Division 2 Västra Götaland. Astrio, on the other hand, needs to regroup and try to bounce back in their next match.
