The sun shone over Västerby IP as Götene IF faced Kinna IF in front of an audience of 495 spectators. Referee Johan Owén blew the whistle to start the match, and already after 17 minutes, Götene made their first substitution, with Christoffer Apell replacing Albrim Demalijaj on the field.

It didn't take long before Kinna struck and took the lead through Linus Larsson in the 38th minute. The score remained until halftime, and Götene opted to make a substitution, bringing Björn Källgren in for Alexander Andersson.

In the second half, Kinna continued to dominate, and in the 60th minute, they extended their lead through Kristian Widenby Pherson. Just a few minutes later, Jonatan Artursson Höglund made it 3-0 for Kinna, and it seemed that the match was decided.

However, Götene kept fighting, and in the 87th minute, Björn Källgren managed to reduce the score to 1-3. The match concluded with a yellow card for Carl-Johan Franzén from Kinna and a substitution where Glenn Dower came on for Jeton Avdija.

When the referee blew the final whistle, Kinna emerged victorious with a score of 3-1, taking home three important points in Division 2 Västra Götaland. Götene needs to reassess their play ahead of the next match to try to get revenge and bring points back home.
